We have been going to this place for over 30 years and it is always fabulous. I had never tried this tower before and it was completely totally amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Love Hakata, good sushi, great sukiyaki. Friendly atmosphere, the wife and I have date night here at least once a month.

I have to give these guys props. The food, for silverdale anyway, is pretty legit. The family that runs, and the sushi chef, is why I gave it 5 stars. We came on a sunday to escape the heat as we don't have AC and sushi sounded good. The son of the owners was amazing. We asked if they ever throw out their carcasses after filleting, out of curiosity, and he said to come back on Tuesday and they would give us one or two. (since we were going crabbing the next week). This is way above and beyond and nothing anyone should ever ever expect, but this one act of generosity (and preventing it just going to the trash) made us fans for life. This is the neighborhoody feel good feels you want from a community restaurant. The food is quite good, and is a good value for the price as well. Oishikatta desu.

Great rolls. I always grab the Las Vegas roll and California roll. Solid prices Everyone, even the chefs welcome ya in each time. Service is always on point and they make sure they check in with you. Highly recommend

I've been coming here for many years and recently came back to visit after new ownership. It was quiet on a Sunday evening, and easy to grab a spot at the bar. I was pleased they had fresh Himachi which is my favorite. All the fish was fresh of course and everything was very tasty. I'd come back when I'm in the area again for sure.

Need some sushi for lunch or dinner? This place has got some fresh fish ready to serve up! We started off with some vegetable tempura and gyoza. Hot and very well battered tempura and the gyoza was ok; a little crispy around the edges. Then we got the a few sushi rolls and then the Ahi Tower. This was presented beautifully and very well flavored. Nice atmosphere and good prices. Green tea was good but could be served a little hotter. Only one server during lunch time to take phone orders and tables so patience is needed. All in all, very good and tasteful!

Hakata Japanese Restaurant in Silverdale, WA surpassed my expectations with their exceptional menu and delightful flavors.
